On Screen vs. In Print
Regardless of how great your images looked on your computer monitor or mobile phone
(especially on retina or amoled screens), your printed photos will always look different from
how they appear on screen. The main difference is the lighting. The back lighting helps your
image to appear brighter and more detailed. Once you take those images off the device, the image
will lose the artificial backlight and the shadows will become darker and subtle details are less
visible.
The Difference in Print between Paper used
Depending on which paper or book/album type you choose, your images can appear warmer,
cooler, sharper, more vibrant or more dull. Please check on our Paper options to see which
effect you like best.
Using images from Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp
These images are often very small and compressed with relatively low-resolution. As such, we are
still able to print them at a smaller size but do note that the image maybe slightly blur or pixelated
if the image is to be expanded.
